Al-Kharj Governor Honors the Military Industries Corporation as a Supporting Sponsor of the Al-Kharj Industrial Forum

His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Kharj, honored the Military Industries Corporation (MIC) for its role as a supporting sponsor of the Al-Kharj Industrial Forum, during the launch of the forum’s first day on Monday, 16 Sha’ban 1445 AH, in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Mady, MIC Chairman. The Al-Kharj Industrial Forum is the first of its kind in the governorate, and is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, in partnership with the Ministry of Investment. The forum’s opening day was attended by His Excellency Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources; His Excellency Dr. Faleh bin Abdullah Al-Sulaiman, President of the General Authority for Defense Development; and Mr. Walid bin Abdulmajeed Abukhaled, CEO of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI). A total of 137 Saudi companies and five Arab companies from various industrial sectors are participating in the event. The forum is expected to witness the signing of several industrial agreements, the hosting of more than 30 industry-related workshops, as well as training courses and various panel discussions. It is worth noting that the forum’s activities will continue until Thursday, 19 Sha’ban 1445 AH.
