Data to be Collected and the Purpose of Collection

First: Personal data to be collected:

  2. Email.

Personal data is collected in order to follow up on any inquiries, suggestions, or complaints submitted by the user.

Methods of Data Collection

  1. All personal data is collected exclusively from the user when they provide it during registration on the MIC website; no personal data is obtained from external sources.
  2. Your personal data is collected indirectly through cookies when you visit the website.

Personal Data Storage and Destruction

Personal data is stored within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the servers of the National Information Center. These servers are protected by the best available technologies in compliance with the policies and controls of the National Cybersecurity Authority and international standards to ensure the prevention of unauthorized access and to mitigate cyber risks. Subsequently, the data will be destroyed within three years from the date of its storage in a secure manner that prevents it from being viewed or retrieved again, in accordance with the policies of the Information Center.

Rights of the Personal Data Subject

  • The right to know: The personal data subject has the right to know the methods by which we collect their data, the legal basis for its collection and processing, how it is processed, stored, and destroyed, and with whom it will be shared. You can find all such details within this Privacy Policy or by contacting us.
  • The right to access the personal data: The personal data subject has the right to request a copy of their personal data via email. The data will be provided to them—free of charge—within [seven working days] via email.
  • The right to correct the personal data: The personal data subject has the right to request the correction of their personal data that they believe to be inaccurate, incorrect, or incomplete, by sending a request via email. The data will be reviewed and updated within [seven working days], and the data subject will be notified of this via email.
  • The right to destroy the personal data: The data subject has the right to request the destruction of their personal data under certain circumstances, unless there is a specific legal provision that specifies a particular retention period or contractual requirements.
  • The right to withdraw consent for the processing of personal data: The personal data subject may withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time, unless there are legitimate purposes that require otherwise.
